This is humorous and ironical interpretation of the collusion theory issue that is highly exploited in the modern pop-culture.
The main character unexpectedly discovers the mystery of the ecumenical collusion which he has to reveal and to do away with it. Though the ecumenical collusion according to Deresh is not an instrument for the manipulation aimed at getting power and wealth. Besides, “Secret order” involves no powers brokers, wizards or elite representatives but rather invisible demiurges playing with this world because they know the secretive mechanics of existence. At the same time the illusion surrounding those “uninitiated” is the ordinary Euclidian geometry taught at school. Grotesque nature of this intrigue is stressed by the author with the help of the fact that the collusion theory itself and the means of opposing it are declared and performed by people representing youth drug culture. Besides everything takes place in their consciousness which is deformed by psychoactive agents. The story is developing amidst weird, often tumbledown and abandoned buildings and places of present-day Lviv. Representatives of different youth subculture backgrounds meet there. The novel reveals peculiar features of concourses and rituals of “urban subcultures”… Main characters of the novel travel around Lviv like in the labyrinth.
The story abounds in dynamic adventures, unexpected denouements and uncommon observations. Deresh himself also appears in his text as the author and as a character as well. He uses universal cultural codes which help the book to be popular and comprehensible for the wide reading audience.
